On December 9th we celebrated the feast of the patron saint of aeronautics Our Lady of Loreto and we took the opportunity to enjoy an event of celebration and coexistence of all of us who form our company and many friends and collaborators. The celebration was also attended by different local personalities.
The event began with a speech from our CEO Mr. Rafael Selma, who thanked all the employees for their efforts in achieving important achievements during the 2022 campaign and announced the plans and actions foreseen for 2023.
An emotional moment was the remembrance of the memory of André Serra Raposo, one of our pilots who unfortunately died when he was fighting fires in Portugal this year.
Another presentation was the announcement of Titan Firefighting’s sponsorship of motorcycle rider Rubén Saldaña in his participation in the Dakar in this 2023 edition. The rider attended the event dressed in the official equipment and with a replica of the bike with which he will compete.
Finally, as is tradition, the local priest blessed our facilities and made a small liturgical act honoring the memory of our deceased colleague.
Afterwards, a meal took place in which we were able to enjoy good times with our colleagues and friends who accompanied us.
